o Site regroupant un ensemble de vallons forestiers, typiques du domaine ardennais, comme le Ruisseau du Martin-Moulin (descendant du Plateau des Tailles), le Ruisseau du Sommerain, la vallée de l'Ourthe orientale, ...

4.2 Quality and importance

o Ensemble caractéristique des hauts plateaux ardennais, avec un grand potentiel de restauration dans les fonds de vallées et sur les sols tourbeux. o Grande diversité forestière ; o Plaines alluviales à végétation typique ; o Présence d'une vieille chênaie très riche en lichens du genre Usnea (Pont de Brisy) ; o Présence de biotopes d'une belle diversité : prés de fauche, pâture, prairies marécageuses, lande à callune et myrille... ; o Présence de plusieurs étangs oligotrophes hébergeant une faune aquatique remarquable (avec notamment une vingtaine d'espèces de libellules ainsi que d'importantes populations d'amphibiens).
