Other Site Characteristics

o Le site englobe le cours de la Sure entre la Forêt d'Anlier et Vaux-sur-Sure et comprend de nombreuses prairies humides, prairies alluviales et massifs forestiers.

o Présence de forêts feuillues (hêtraies) de superficie relativement vaste pour cette région dominée par les forêts résineuses ; o Présence de complexes marécageux intéressants et variés ; o Présence de nombreux petits étangs favorables à l'avifaune mais aussi aux batraciens et aux odonates ; o Présence d'espèces rares et menacées comme la Moule perlière (Margarita margaritifera).
