Other Site Characteristics

o Site composé de forêts de versant en bordure de Meuse, entre Yvoir et Dave mais aussi en bordure du Ruiseau de Tailfer, entre Maillen et l'embouchure avec la Meuse.

o Présence de belles érablières de ravin entrecoupées de profondes ravines rocheuses; o Nombreux escarpements rocheux et falaises ;o Présence d'une buxaie; o Belles forêts alluviales ; o Présence de plusieurs grottes, habitats potentiels de chiroptères; o Zones de liaison entre des sites de grand intérêt; o Versants essentiellement occupés par une chênaie-charmaie en vieux taillis; o Nombreuses plantations de résineux vers les têtes de ruisseaux; o Anciennes carrières; o Le site comprend deux îles sur la Meuse.
