Other Site Characteristics

Site formé essentiellement de forêts de versant et englobant des zones rocheuses en bordure du Bocq (entre Yvoir et Purnode) mais aussi en bordure du Ruisseau de Crupet.

4.2 Quality and importance

Site très intéressant pour l'herpétofaune (Coronelle, Lézard des murailles, ...) et pour la flore (seule localité connue de Cynoglossum germanicum). Les habitats sont variés et, parmi eux, on retrouve des faciès d'érablière à tilleuls exposés au sud particulièrement rares, des zones rocheuses encore dégagées de toute végétation et quelques prairies de fauche ayant échappé à l'intensification agricole. Un ensemble de prairies à Natoye accueillait jusqu'il y a peu une petite population de Triton crêté.
