Other Site Characteristics

The cave is sitated in "Lozeto" area. The entrance is big : 10X10 metres. The solitary gallery is high and wide with some lateral halls. It is 800 metres long. It's rich of beautiful secondary carst forms - stalactites, stalagmites, stalactones, helictits and anomal forms.

4.2 Quality and importance

There are data about local endemic water and terrestrial unvertebrate cave fauna and a new species is described from there- crustacean from the genus of Stygoelaphoidella. There are tertial relicts from the genera Speocyclops and Niphargus. The cave is important winter refuge of Rhinolophus bats. Some bats as Miniopterus schreibersii , Myotis myotis and Myotis blythi are breeding there.
