Other Site Characteristics

Poloha: Vrchol na východním okraji města Teplice. Ekotop: Geologie: Znělcové vulkanické (podpovrchové) těleso. Geomorfologie: Výrazný suk na západním okraji Českého středohoří vystupující nad ploché dno Chomutovsko-teplické pánve na západě. Reliéf: 393 m n. m. vysoká hora s místy skalnatými srázy. Pedologie: Vyvinuly se zde modální (eubazické) a litické kambizemě s litickými rankery, místy velmi mělké litozemě. Krajinná charakteristika: Starý dubový a bukový porost. Biota: Severní strana je porostlá starší květnatou bučinou, zbytek pokrývají dubohabřiny, teplomilné doubravy, místy i suťové lesy. V teplomilné doubravě na jižních svazích se vyskytují staré mohutné exempláře dubu letního s mnoha dutinami. Lesní porost slouží jako příměstský lesopark.
