Reich strukturierte Küstenlandschaft des Oderhaffs. Landschaftseinheit Ueckermünder Heide. Der überwiegende Teil ist mit Laub- und Nadelwald bewachsen

Landschaftliche Vielfalt mit störungsarmer Binnendünenlandschaft. Von überregionaler Bedeutung sind die offenen Binnendünen Slawische Besiedlung im 12.Jh. Außergewöhnlich interessante und vielfältig natürliche Ausstattung in Topografie, Landschaftsbild, Flora und Fauna Bedeutende Dünenaufwehung im Bereich des sog. Haffstausees (bis 15m) mit vorgelagerten Überflutungsgrünlandbereichen .
