Other Site Characteristics

Entwässertes, stark durch alten Torfstich überformtes Hochmoor, überwiegend Birken-Kiefern-Moorwald. Offene Bereiche mit degen. Hochmoor sowie Übergangsmooren und dystrophen Kleingewässern. Eichen-Hainbuchenwald. Sekundärbiotope mit Cladium und Chara.

4.2 Quality and importance

Repräsent. Vorkommen der LRT 7210 (eines der beiden größten Vorkommen im Land), 3140 u. 3160 im Naturraum D31. Einer der landesweit größten sekundären Moorwälder. Bedeutsames Vorkommen von Kammmolch, Übergangsmoor und Eichen-Hainbuchenwald.
