Other Site Characteristics

Steilhänge an der westlichen Talseite der Oker mit zahlreichen Felsen (überwiegend aus Granit, kleinflächig auch aus anderen Silikatgesteinen und Kalk). Zwischen den Felsen überwiegend Fichtenforste, teilweise auch Birken- und Kiefernbestände.

4.2 Quality and importance

Repräsentative Bestände von Kalk- und Silikatfelsen im Naturraum D37, auch geowissenschaftlich bedeutsam. Eine spezifische Felsspaltenvegation ist nur teilweise entwickelt (vorwiegend an basenreichen Gesteinsschichten).
