Großes geschlossenes Laubwaldgebiet am Nordharzrand.

4.2 Quality and importance

Brutgebiet und Nahrungsgebiet sowie z.T. Jahreslebensraum typischer Vogelarten der Wälder, Gebüsche und des angrenzenden Offenlandes. Wie zahlreiche Bergbauanlagen belegen, wurde das SPA-Gebiet im Mittelalter und in der Neuzeit als Bergbaurevier genutzt. Es liegen keine Informationen vor.
