Großflächige, überwiegend naturnahe Buchenwälder östlich von Dalheim. Ergänzung zu 3.3.: Im Gebiet gibt es bedeutsame Vorkommen folgender Vogelarten: Eisvogel, Grauspecht, Haselhuhn, Mittelspecht, Rotmilan, Schwarzspecht, Schwarzstorch
