Other Site Characteristics

Teilweise versumpftes Bachtal mit wertvollem Salzgrünland und südexponierten Steilhängen mit Trocken- und Halbtrockenrasen.

4.2 Quality and importance

Sehr gut ausgeprägte Salzwiesen. Lebensraum zahlreicher Amphibienarten und spezialisierter Pflanzen- und Insektenarten. Gut ausgeprägte Trocken- und Halbtrockenrasen. Entlang der Salza wurde die günstige topographische Lage genutzt, um Grabhügel anzulegen, so z.B. nordwestlich von Langenbogen. Holozäne Abschlämmassen in der Salzaniederung.
