Other Site Characteristics

Basaltkuppen-Komplex in der Fritzlarer Börde. Kuppen überwiegend bewaldet mit offenen Felsformationen und kleinflächigen Magerrasen. Einzelne Felskuppen vollständig offen.

4.2 Quality and importance

Insbesondere aus botan. bzw. vegetat.kundl.Sicht überregional bedeutendes Gebiet mit einer Vielzahl an seltenen und gefährdeter Pflanzenarten, tlw. mit bundesweiter Bedeutung. Vorkommen von Allium-montanum-Gesellschaften.
