Fast vollständig bewaldetes Bergmassiv mit teilweise mächtigen hydraulisch wirksamen Bodenschichten, die zu einer Vermoorung von Teilen des Gebietes geführt haben. Auf der Kuppe des Bergmassivs dominieren Felsformationen (Mausefalle).
