Flache Senke, im NW anmoorig, im feuchteren SW Schlammlingsfluren, Seggensümpfe, ausgedehnte Feuchtbrachen, Röhrichte,Groß-Seggenrieder, Weidengehölzkomplexe. Im O beweidetes Feucht-Grünland.Verteilt angelegte Flachgewässer untersch. Verlandungsstadien.

Bundesweite Bedeutung der eutrophen Flachgewässer als Habitat für hochgradig gefährdete Wasserpfl.arten. Versch. Stillgewäss.typen bedeutsam für gefährdete Amphibien, Libellen. Ornitholog. Bedeutung insbes. für Wiesen- und Röhrichtbrüter. Lage in Subrosionssenke, in der ehemals ein See entstand, der jedoch trockengelegt wurde.

Maßnahmenplan (2016): Maßnahmen zur Gewährleistung eines aktuell guten oder sehr guten Erhaltungszustandes für die im Gebiet vorkommenden LRT und Arten oder Maßnahmen zur Wiederherstellung eines günstigen Erhaltungszustandes für die im Gebiet vorkommenden LRT und Arten.
