Naturnah strukturierter Auenkomplex der Wurm mit naturnahen Stillgewässern, Erlen- u. Silberweiden-Auenwäldern. Die weitgehend unverbaute Wurm schlängelt sich durch ein wiesenreiches Tal, dessen Hänge großflächige Waldbestände aufweisenErgänzung zu 3.3.: Im Gebiet gibt es bedeutsame Vorkommen folgender Vogelarten: Bekassine, Eisvogel, Flussregenpfeifer, Knäkente, Krickente, Löffelente, Nachtigall, Pirol, Teichrohrsänger, Uferschwalbe, Waldwasserläufer, Wasserralle, Wespenbussard, Zwergtaucher
