Das Bachursprungstal bei Olfen weist zahlreiche Biotoptypen nährstoffarmer, saurer, meist nasser Standorte mit den für sie charakteristischen Pflanzenarten auf. Entsprechende Wuchsorte sind im Bezugsraum heutzutage kaum mehr zu finden
