Die Binnendüne liegt in der St. Ingberter Senke und ist von Kiefernwald mit Silbergrasfluren, sowie offenen Sandrasen bedeckt.

Seltene Binnendüne aus Buntsandsteinmaterial, bestockt von lichtem Kiefernwald mit Silbergrasfluren, Sandrasen und trockenen Heideflächen, mit den charakteristischen, seltenen Arten. Binnendüne als seltene geomorphologische Erscheinungsform
