Other Site Characteristics

Ausgedehntes Laubwaldgebiet auf dem Muschelkalk-Höhenzug zwischen Bliestal und Bickenalbtal incl. vorgelagerter Stufenhänge. Überwiegend Eichen- und Buchenwälder, an den Hängen Kalk-Halbtrockenrasen und Magerwiesen.

Ausgedehnte Laubwaldbestände mit hervorragend ausgeprägten z.T. kulturbedingten Eichen-Hainbuchen-Mittelwäldern, mit Buchenwäldern u. einem landschaftstypischen Schatthangwald. Vorgelagert hervorragend ausgebildete Halbtrockenrasen. sel.Ar Alter Eichen-Hainbuchen-Mittelwald in guter Ausprägung Zahlreiche Mardellen (wassergefüllte Dolinien) und weiterer Karstformenschatz
