Weich-und Hartholzauen der Donau mit Brennen, Auwiesen und Altwässern, Talflanken mit Kalkfelsen, Kalkpionier- und Halbtrockenrasen sowie verschiedenen naturnahen Laubwaldtypen.

4.2 Quality and importance

V. angustior: 2-4 Ind./0,25m² in 6/36 Untersuchungsflächen, sechs 1x1km-Grids besetzt. V. moulinsiana: 1-100 Ind./m² in 8/36 Untersuchungsflächen, sieben 1x1km-Grids besetzt. Fische: Populationsgrößen (Individuen/km, CPUE) aus Stichproben (n), Min = 1.Quartil, Max = 3.Quartil, Art: 1130, 2485, 2555, 1157, 5339, 5345, 1160, 1105, 5329, 5085, 1109 n=206. Die größten verbliebenen und intakten Auwaldbestände Bayerns an stellenweise frei fließendem Donauabschnitt mit häufigen Überschwemmungen. Brennenstandorte mit seltenen Artvorkommen, große Altwasserschlingen, großflächige Trockenlebensraumkomplexe. Brennen mit Anzeichen einer langjährigen Beweidung und Streunutzung, Jungholozäne Ablagerungen in Form von Ton, Lehm, Sand und Kies im Bereich der Donauaue, teilweise Alt- bis mittelholozäne Schotterterassen aus sandigem Kies, Papierschiefer-Aufschluss und Plattenkalke als besondere Schichtfolge und Sedimentstrukturen. Alte Donaumäander.
