Großflächige Waldlandschaft mit Buchen- und Eichen-Hainbuchenwäldern. Im Süden ehemaliger Standortübungsplatz (Naturerbefläche Donauwörth) mit Lebensraumkomplexen aus magerem Grünland und Kleingewässern.
