Explanation(s):Der Schutz der Vogelschutzgebiete ist ab April 2016 über die Bayerische Natura 2000-Verordnung vom 19.02.2016, in Kraft getreten am 01.04. 2016 gewährleistet, die sowohl Regelungen zu den Fauna-Flora-Habitat-Gebieten (FFH-Gebieten) wie auch zu den Europäischen Vogelschutzgebieten enthält. Die bisherige Bayerische Vogelschutzverordnung (VoGEV) vom 12. Juli 2006 tritt damit außer Kraft.

Das Mindeltal beherbergt die besterhaltensten Niedermoorreste der Schwäbischen Schotterplatte, die Mindelaue besteht aus einem Mosaik von Feuchtwiesen, Extensivgrünland, Gräben mit Röhricht.
