Other Site Characteristics

Kimmelkær Landkanal er beliggende på gammelt marint forland. Landskabet veksler mellem bakkeøer og lavere liggende marint forland. Oplandet er primært udnyttet til landbrugsformål. Kimmelkær Landkanal har et kanaliseret forløb med blød sandet bund og løber parallelt med vandløbet Star Grøft. Kanalen har udløb i Tim Å kort før åens udløb til Stadil fjord.
