Other Site Characteristics

Tervikuna metsa ja madalsoo alale jääv Suure-Aru loodusala asub Harjumaal. Loodusalal inventeeritud ja väga hästi säilinud madalsoo (7230) ja seda ümbritsev soo-lehtmets (9080*) on elupaigatüübid, mille kaitstavat pinda on Eesti kontekstis vajalik suurendada, arvestades nende elupaikade kaitstavat pindala Eestis. Lisaks elupaigatüüpidele on loodusalal haruldaste taimeliikide kasvukohti.

4.2 Quality and importance
