Hiiumaal asuva väikesepindalalise (ca 16 ha) Vilivalla loodusala piirkonnas moodustavad pealiskorra alam-siluri juuru lademe lubjakivid, kuigi loodusalal aluspõhi ei paljandu. Pinnakate koosneb mereliivadest. Maastikuliselt jääb Vilivalla Undama meretasandike, soostuvate maade ja soopaigaste mikrorajooni. Loodusala põhiväärtused on poollooduslikud kooslused (6530*, 9070),
