Comunidades de acantilados marítimos: Crithmo-Armerietum pubigerae; Dauco gummiferi-Festucetum pruinosae.

4.2 Quality and importance

Tramo de costa expuesta que incluye a los siguientes enclaves: Marismas de Baldaio, Islas Sisargas, Ensenada de A Insua, Laguna de Traba, Cabo Vilán y Cabo Fisterra.Marismas de Baldaio y Ensenada de A Insua albergan interesantes poblaciones de aves acuáticas invernantes, aunque sin alcanzar cifras importantes.Los abruptos acantilados de Islas Sisargas y Cabo Vilán concentran a la práctica totalidad de las colonias de Gaviota Tridáctila (Rissa tridactyla) y Arao Común (Uria aalge) de España. Islas Sisargas también alberga la pricipal colonia de Gaviota Sombría (Larus fuscus) de España.Laguna de Traba, a pesar de su reducido tamaño, mantiene un muy buen estado de conservación al igual que el sistema dunar que tiene asociado.
