Comunidad de Utricularia vulgaris;Senecio bayonensis-Alnetum glutinosae; Hyperico elodis-Potametum oblongi; Eleocharitetum multicaulis; Comunidad de Potamogeton natans.

4.2 Quality and importance

Extensa red fluvial asociada a pastizales, áreas agrícolas y terrenos encharcables que forman un característico complejo húmedo. Laguna permanente (Lagoa de Cospeito) rodeada de formaciones hidromorfas de inundación estacional. Alberga 1.500 aves acuáticas durante el período invernal. Alberga un pequeño núcleo reproductor de Sisón (Tetrax tetrax), así como una considerable población no reproductora. En los alrededores de la laguna de Cospeito de localiza una reducida población (<100i) de Eryngium viviparum.
