Las características principales del lugar se encuentran definidas por la clases de hábitat anteriores.

4.2 Quality and importance

Conjunto de manchas caducifolias en los barrancos del río Rodil y sus afluentes. Se encuentran robledales de Quercus robur y manchas de Quercus pyrenaica entremezcladas con Castanea sativa. En la parte alta amesetada, se localizan pastos, cultivos y extensos abedulares de Bétula celtibérica.Presencia significativa de Lobo (Canis lupus).
