Other Site Characteristics

Tramo medio-alto del río Gállego, caracterizado por unos aportes de agua no especialmente abundantes pero con una torrencialidad acusada. El río discurre sobre una gran plana de terrazas fluviales con importantes conos de deyección. El lugar comprende los restos no sensiblemente transformados del bosque de ribera en una zona en que la actividad agrícola y ganadera ha modelado el fondo del valle.
