Other Site Characteristics

Zona con modelado geomorfológico poco acusado, con conglomerados y areniscas del permotrías en bancos potentes que dan el característico relieve del Rodeno. Además aparecen crestas en los niveles cuarcíticos y vertientes regularizadas en las pizarras. Magnífico ejemplo de multiplicidad de formas rocosas a pequeña y gran escala.

4.2 Quality and importance

Espacio declarado Paisaje Protegido debido a la espectacularidad y belleza de su relieve. Incluye los hábitats prioritarios Pinar sudmediterráneo de pino negro endémico y Bosques endémicos de Juniperus spp., además de algunos taxones del Anexo II de la Directiva 92/43/CEE.
