Espacio ubicado dentro de los macizos paleozoicos de la Ibérica Zaragozana, identificados estructuralmente como horsts disimétricos de dirección NW-SE con una clara vergencia hacia el Noreste. Esta sierra está individualizada respecto al resto por corredo
