Lugar ubicado en la fosa del Tajo, que presenta rasgos geomorfológicos de gran singularidad y fragilidad, al tratarse de una zona abarrancada con paredes de fuertes pendientes, en las terrazas fluviales del Río Tajo, sustentando formaciones bien conservadas de enebral.

4.2 Quality and importance

Zona de gran singularidad y fragilidad geomorfológica, que sustenta hábitats bien conservados de enebral de Juniperus oxycedrus, matorral de quercíneas y pastizales subestépicos de gramíneas anuales. Las paredes de estas barrancas en media luna, de fuertes pendientes, constituyen un hábitat de nidificación óptimo para especies de aves rupícolas amenazadas como el Aguila perdicera o el Halcón peregrino.
