Mina abandonada situada en el centro de la provincia de Badajoz, en el término municipal de Feria, en la sierra del mismo nombre. Sirve como refugio de quirópteros razón por la que ha sido incluida en la Red de Espacios Natura 2000. Posee el hábitat típico de las cuevas extremeñas.

4.2 Quality and importance

Todos los elementos incluidos en la Directiva presentes en este espacio tienen que ver con el grupo de los quirópteros, por tanto del Anexo II. Hay que señalar la presencia de Rhinolophus melehyi, Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, Myotis myotis y Miniopterus schreibersii. Entre los quirópteros se encuentra un gran número de especies amenazadas, por lo que adquieren gran importancia los espacios destinados a la protección de su hábitat como es el que se describe aquí. Además esta presente el hábitat de la directiva "Cuevas no explotadas por el turismo".
