LIC conformado por una mina abandonada situada en el municipio de Alconchel, en la zona suroeste de la Comunidad. Posee una galería principal estrecha comunicada con el exterior a través de un pozo. A lo largo del pozo aparecen cámaras u oquedades a un lado y a otro, de las cuales, parten galerías cegadas.

4.2 Quality and importance

Un total de 4 elementos referidos en la Directiva Hábitat se encuentran representados en dicho enclave. 1 es hábitat incluido en el anexo I, y 3 especies incluidas en el anexo II de dicha Directiva.El hábitat corresponde a Cuevas no explotadas por el turismo, y los taxones a 3 especies de murciélagos. Destaca por su importancia internacional por la elevada población reproductora de murcíelago mediano de herradura (Rhinolophus mehelyi), siendo también de importancia la población invernante. También están presentes importantes poblaciones, tanto reproductoras, como invernantes, de murciélago ratonero grande (Myotis myotis) y murciélago pequeño de herradura (Rhinolophus hipposideros).
