Other Site Characteristics

Vegetación mediterranea de Pino blanco con matorral de romero. Comunidades invasoras de cultivos abandonados en transición hacia estadios más evolucionados de encinar litoral. Franja limite superior del pantano con comunidades inestables debido a la inundabilidad variable de la misma. Fauna piscícola autoctona con Barbus haasi y Leuciscus cephalus. Destaca la gran variedad de mamíferos debido al despoblamiento humano de la zona y en parte al efecto barrera del pantano: Aguila perdicera, hurón, gato montés, gineta, garduña, jabalí, etc.
