Ansionjärvi on Puujoen keskivaiheilla sijaitseva läpivirtaamajärvi. Alueen helofyyttikasvustot ovat varsin laajat runsaimman lajin ollessa isosorsimo.

Suojelutavoitteen määrittely: Tietolomakkeen taulukossa 3.2 mainitut lajit kuuluvat alueen suojeluperusteisiin ja kaikkien niiden suojelutavoitteena on vähintäänkin alueen merkityksen säilyttäminen osana verkostoa. Lajin elinympäristön laatua tai lajin populaation elinvoimaisuutta parannetaan tarvittaessa ennallistamis- ja hoitotoimenpitein.
