Other Site Characteristics
le site est localisé sur le plateau de Langres, plateau calcaire constitué principalement des étages du Bajocien et du Bathonien, très disséqué par les vallées.
Zone en bon état mais risque de conversion rapide des prairies en culture de maïs et évolution des marais vers la forêt ou menace de plantations.
Gestion nécessaire à assez court terme si l'on veut conserver le principal marais de l'embroussaillement. La fauche annuelle ou le paturage extensif est souhaitable.
Maintenir la qualité de l'eau afin de préserver plusieurs espèces de la Directive Habitats. N'effectuer aucun travail hydraulique sur le cours de la rivière. |
4.2 Quality and importance
La vallée de l'Aube, d'Auberive à Dancevoir, est une vallée alluviale submontagnarde relativement intacte. Elle est encore pâturée ou en fauche et généralement peu amendée.
Cette vallée possède des tufières et cascades remarquables, plusieurs marais tourbeux et des éléments de forêt alluviale.
Seule station d'Hydrocotyle vulgaris du département de la Haute-Marne.
La flore et la faune de la rivière sont relativement bien conservées. |
