Site composé de plateaux et coteaux calcaires dominant la vallée de la Meuse Bon état actuel, fauche tardive sous les lignes électriques et au niveau des layons. Maintien de la gestion forestière actuelle. Maintenir les clairières.

La forêt d'Harreville-les-Chanteurs est une forêt remarquable présentant l'un des sites les plus typiques et le plus développés du Tilio-Acerion de toute la Haute-Marne. Elle comprend de belles hêtraies-chênaies et de vastes falaises calcaires
