Other Site Characteristics

Les pourcentages de recouvrement par classe d'habitats figurant ci-dessus ont été donnés à titre indicatif. En effet, ils seront précisés lors de l'élaboration du document d'objectifs. L'habitat 6210 est à classer en habitat prioritaire (orchidées). Les pelouses sont menacées par le déclin de l'élevage alors que les prairies et les mares risquent de disparaître suite à l'intensification agricole. Peu de menaces réelles sur les milieux forestiers sensibles à condition de parvenir à une gestion "douce" et réfléchie entre les différents partenaires y compris les forestiers privés.

4.2 Quality and importance

Site éclaté de pelouses à orchidées, de milieux forestiers (hêtraies sur calcaire et forêts de ravins typiques) côtoyant des zones de prairies humides parsemées de mares. A noter la présence de Triturus cristatus. Des carrières, des sapes creusées dans le calcaire et d'anciens ouvrages militaires abritent cinq espèces de chauves-souris inscrites à l'annexe II. Des combles d'églises sont également utilisés en été par les colonies de mise bas du Petit rhinolophe.
