Other Site Characteristics

Le site des carrières de Cénac comprend plusieurs carrières souterraines avec plusieurs entrées sur une distance d'environ 600 mètres. Risque de pénétration humaine en raison de sa situation sur un territoire très urbanisé, mais pas de dégradation identifiée jusqu'à présent. Risque de destruction de gites lié à l'instablité des carrières.

4.2 Quality and importance

Les effectifs de Grand Rhinolophe, de Murin à oreilles échancrées et du complexe d'espèces Petit / Grand Murin en période d'hibernation donnent au site un interet régional pour la conservation de ces espèces. La qualité et l'importance du site sont peut etre sous évaluées par manque de données et d'études.
