Other Site Characteristics

Le site Natura 2000 « Réseau hydrographique de la Pimpine » est situé en région Aquitaine dans le département de la Gironde, à seulement quelques kilomètres de l'agglomération bordelaise en rive droite de la Garonne. Le site de la Pimpine couvre une superficie de 281.3 hectares à cheval sur sept communes (de l'amont vers l'aval) : Sadirac, Lignan-de-Bordeaux, Loupès, Fargues St Hilaire, Carignan-de-Bordeaux, Cénac et Latresne. Il correspond au cours principal de la Pimpine, du Rauzé, une partie du Cante-Rane et du ruisseau de Carles. Les milieux les plus humides adjacents au cours d'eau ainsi que des pelouses sèches sur calcaire en bords de coteaux ont également été intégrés au site. Changement de spéculations agricoles Parmi les espèces identifiées sur le site, certaines présentent un caractère envahissant et causent des dysfonctionnements écologiques : - Poisson chat (Ictalurus melas) - Perche soleil (Lepomis gibbosus) - Ecrevisse de Louisiane (Procambarus clarkii) - Crabe chinois (Eriocheir sinensis) - Ragondin (Myocastor coypus) - Renouée de Japon (Reynoutria sp.) - Jussie (Ludwigia peploides/grandiflora) - Myriophylle du Brésil (Myriophyllum aquaticum) - Erable négundo (Acer negundo) - Bambou (Bambusoidae sp.) - Robinier faux-acacia (Robinia pseudo acacia) (hors parcelles d'exploitation)
