Présence de mares à Chara sp. sur les zones marneuses. Milieux très mosaïqués. Risques d'enfrichement

4.2 Quality and importance

Plateau calcaire et dolomitique avec falaises et escarpements rocheux. Ce site présente également de nombreuses grottes et avens (Mas Raynal, Mas Estrech, etc...). Il possède de très belles pelouses et landes à genèvriers et à buis ainsi que des taillis de chênes pubescents et de bois de pins sylvestres. Présence de hêtraie relictuelle dans les canoles plus humides. Présence de chauves-souris d'intérêt communautaire.
