Ce réseau de zones humides est associé au cours de l'Isère entre Albertville et l'agglomération chambérienne. Vulnérabilité: L'activité humaine autour de ces zones devient de plus en plus importante, laissant ce réseau comme unique bastion naturel.

4.2 Quality and importance

Ces zones humides de la moyenne vallée de l'Isère présentent divers stades d'évolution des marais neutro-alcalins : prairies humides et cariçaies encore fauchées, faciès d'embroussaillement à différents stades et boisements humides. S'y ajoute un cours d'eau de qualité. Dans un contexte où l'influence humaine est de plus en plus pressante (autoroute, route nationale, chemin de fer, extraction de granulats, zones industrielles...), ce réseau constitue un refuge indispensable pour toute la faune et la flore exceptionnelles des zones humides.
