A remote mountain range characterized by bare summits, wooded slopes, gorges and scree slopes.The site GR1260010 OROS BELES are overlapped from the site GR1260001 LIMNI KERKINI - KROUSIA - KORYFES OROUS BELES, ANGISTRO – CHAROPO, and occupy the 32.25% of the site.

This is an important area for breeding and passage raptors and alpine and forest species. Species of concern include: Aquila pomarina.
