Other Site Characteristics

Karst pit. Liburnian sediments, foraminiferal limestones and transitional sediments (upper paleocene , lower and middle eocene - Pc, E1, 2); brown soil on limestone. The depth of the pit 361 m, and its horizontal entrance are replaced with vertical sections after only a few tens of meters, after the last vertical tight meander leads to sizeable hall - Okrugla dvorana. Pit is situated on Ćićarija mountain, near the settlement Rašpor.
