Other Site Characteristics

Artificial fish-ponds that has become excellent wetland for waterfowls (breeding and migrating birds as well) included endangered species like the Ferruginous Duck (Aythya nyroca). There are also alkaline fens and meadows with protected flowers.

„Kiemelt fontosságú cél a következő fajok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének fenntartása, helyreállítása: Bakcsó (Nycticorax nycticorax), Barna rétihéja (Circus aeruginosus), Cigányréce (Aythya nyroca), Fehér gólya (Ciconia ciconia), Fekete gólya (Ciconia nigra), Fülemülesitke (Acrocephalus melanopogon), Jégmadár (Alcedo atthis), Rétisas (Haliaeetus albicilla), Törpegém (Ixobrychus minutus). További jelentős madárfajok: Kis vöcsök (Tachybaptus ruficollis), Tőkés réce (Anas platyrhynchos). Includes natural habitat complexes and protected species. Also important wetland as waterfowl feeding and nesting site. Alkaline fens are important for orchids.

Általános célkitűzés: A Natura 2000 különleges madárvédelmi terület természetvédelmi célkitűzése az azon előforduló, a kijelölés alapjául szolgáló közösségi jelentőségű madárfajok költő-, vonuló és telelő állományainak, egyedszámának, populációi életképességének megőrzése, a fajok ökológiai szükségleteinek megfelelő és életfeltételeiket biztosító élőhelytípusok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének biztosítása, fenntartása, helyreállítása. Specifikus célok:A terület fő célkitűzése: •A Natura 2000 különleges madárvédelmi terület kiemelkedő élőhelyi változatosságának, mozaikosságának biztosítása az optimális vízkormányzás és a terület természetvédelmi státuszával harmonizáló halgazdálkodás útján. További célok és végrehajtandó feladatok: •A terület vízellátásának és természeteshez közeli vízjárásának biztosítása a fészkelő vízimadárfajok és az azok táplálékbázisát alkotó vízi szervezetek ökológiai igényeinek megfelelően. • A megmaradt vizes élőhelyek természetesnek megfelelő vízellátását biztosítani kell, különös tekintettel a terület ÉK-i részén lévő lápréten. • A nádas foltok és a szegélynövényzet időbeni és térbeni változatosságának biztosítása a megfelelő időben történő vízkormányzás és kaszálás segítségével. • A nyílt vízfelület, a hínárnövényzet és a változatos összetételű mocsári növényzet arányának területrészek szerinti fenntartása, optimalizálása, helyreállítása. • Az inváziós növényfajok, így az idegenhonos aranyvessző fajok (Solidago spp.), a japánkeserűfű fajok (Reynoutria spp.) és az akác (Robinia pseudo-acacia) visszaszorítása. • A fészkelési időszakban bekövetkező szélsőséges vízszintváltozások kivédése a töltéslábakon fészkelő fajok érdekében. • Természetvédelmi céloknak megfelelő erdőgazdálkodás kialakítása. • Az abiotikus katasztrófák (pl: tűzkár) elhárítása. There is no official conservation management plan. Recommendations: - ensure water supply of alkaline fens (with Eriophorum latifolium) - grassland management against invasive species (by grazing, cutting and removal of bushes) - hunting, disturbance of birds is forbidden in the site
