Other Site Characteristics

Narrow near-natural valleys with humid vegetation and small brooks. Grasslands are predominant with few little patches of riparian gallery forests and willow bushes. In small extents exist bogs with unique species.

4.2 Quality and importance

Kiemelt fontosságú cél a következő élőhelytípusok/fajok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének helyreállítása: 6440 Folyóvölgyek Cnidion dubiihoz tartozó mocsárrétjei 7230 Mészkedvelő üde láp- és sásrétek Regionally very valuable seminatural and natural grasslands in agricultural environment. Habitat with the only one population of Eriophorum latifolium and E. angustifolium.

Általános célkitűzések: A Natura 2000 terület természetvédelmi célkitűzése az azon található, a kijelölés alapjául szolgáló fajok és élőhelytípusok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének megőrzése, fenntartása, helyreállítása, valamint a Natura 2000 területek lehatárolásának alapjául szolgáló természeti állapot és a kedvező természetvédelmi állapottal összhangban lévő gazdálkodás feltételeinek biztosítása. Fő célkitűzések: - A vízfolyások mellett kialakult és erősen degradálódó szegélytársulások és fátlan élőhelyek védelme (kaszálás, inváziós fajok (pl. aranyvessző) visszaszorítása). - A terület megfelelő vízgazdálkodásának biztosítása, mederrendezések minimalizálása. - A vizes élőhelyek (mocsárrétek, láp- és sásrétek) vízellátásának javítása vízvisszatartással, a vízfolyások medermélyítésének elkerülésével. További célok és célkitűzések: - Korábbi mederrendezések és mederfenék-süllyedés káros hatásainak enyhítése. - A területet érintő részletes felmérések elkészítése, kiemelt figyelemmel a terület jelölő és egyéb közösségi jelentőségű fajaira és élőhelyeire.
