Other Site Characteristics

The site exists as two disjunct areas, one of them is forested the other one is a humid non-forested area. In both of them the near natural habitats predominate. At the grassland area non listed but valuable natural habitats exist in large amount and typical is the regulated but natural state arroyo. In the forest stands are mosaics of monocultural plantations among the natural parts. In the natural types the illyrian oak-hornbeam forests predominate but more important are the alder stands at humid places. Next to the forest are two artificial but natural-like fishponds.

6440 Cnidion dubii folyóvölgyek mocsárrétjei 91E0 *Enyves éger (Alnus glutinosa) és magas kőris (Fraxinus excelsior) alkotta ligeterdők (Alno-Padion, Alnion incanae, Salicion albae) Kiemelt fontosságú cél a következő élőhelytípusok/fajok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének helyreállítása: 6410 Kékperjés láprétek meszes, tőzeges vagy agyagbemosódásos talajokon (Molinion caeruleae) 91F0 Keményfás ligeterdők nagy folyók mentén Quercus robur, Ulmus laevis és Ulmus minor, Fraxinus excelsior vagy Fraxinus angustifolia fajokkal (Ulmenion minoris) 91L0 Illír gyertyános-tölgyesek (Erythronion-carpinion) The listed habitats are valuable and regionally very important. At the humid grasslands large fraction is non listed but valuable seminatural habitat.

Általános célkitűzések: A Natura 2000 terület természetvédelmi célkitűzése az azon található, a kijelölés alapjául szolgáló fajok és élőhelytípusok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének megőrzése, fenntartása, helyreállítása, valamint a Natura 2000 területek lehatárolásának alapjául szolgáló természeti állapot és a kedvező természetvédelmi állapottal összhangban lévő gazdálkodás feltételeinek biztosítása. Fő célkitűzések: - A terület a Rinya-patak medermélyüléséből és a hozzá csatlakozó árkok leszívó hatásából eredő szárazodásának mérséklése vízvisszatartó műtárgyak elhelyezésével. - Gyepes területek megfelelő kaszálásos és legeltetéses kezelésének fenntartása illetve bevezetése a közösségi jelentőségű élőhelytípus(ok) természetvédelmi helyzetének megőrzése/fejlesztése érdekében. - Inváziós fajok térfoglalásának visszaszorítása (pl. gyalogakác, kései meggy, aranyvessző) - Természetközeli erdőgazdálkodási módok alkalmazása. - Kis vízfolyások természetességének növelése a természetes vegetációval rendelkező meder- és partszakaszok kíméletével, valamint lehetőség szerint vízvisszatartással. További célok és célkitűzések: - Vadlétszám csökkentése elsősorban a vaddisznó állomány tekintetében, ami komoly károkat okoz a gyep és mocsár élőhelyeken. - Erdőterületeken folyamatos erdőborítást biztosító üzemmód bevezetése.
