Other Site Characteristics

On large area mostly near natural mesophile and humid forests, among them small patches of non natural forest plantations. The small natural water surfaces are very important around them very valuable bogs and humid forests. In the forests the predominant habitat are the oak-ash-elm and oak-hornbeam forests.

Általános célkitűzések: A Natura 2000 terület természetvédelmi célkitűzése az azon található, a kijelölés alapjául szolgáló fajok és élőhelytípusok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének megőrzése, fenntartása, helyreállítása, valamint a Natura 2000 területek lehatárolásának alapjául szolgáló természeti állapot és a kedvező természetvédelmi állapottal összhangban lévő gazdálkodás feltételeinek biztosítása. Fő célkitűzések: Terület szárazodásának megakadályozása, vízgazdálkodás helyreállítása a Szabási-Rinya és a hozzá csatlakozó árkokon történő vízvisszatartással. a vizes élőhelyeken. Inváziós fajok térfoglalásának visszaszorítása (pl. gyalogakác, aranyvessző), megtelepedésének megakadályozása (kései meggy) a megjelenő egyedek eltávolításával. Természetközeli erdőgazdálkodási módok alkalmazása, idős faegyedek kímélete elsődleges fontosságú az erdős területeken. Őshonos fafajokból lábon álló és fekvő holtfa állandó jelenlétének biztosítása. A keményfás ligeterdők szárazodásának megakadályozása. Az illír gyertyános-tölgyesek szárazabb állományainak fokozott kímélete. További célok és célkitűzések: Vadlétszám csökkentése. Erdőterületeken folyamatos erdőborítást biztosító üzemmód bevezetése. A területet érintő részletes felmérések elkészítése, kiemelt figyelemmel a terület jelölő és egyéb közösségi jelentőségű fajaira és élőhelyeire.
