Other Site Characteristics

The largest cointinuous alluvial forests in the Middle-Danube flood area with a relevance as a consequence to this fact. Beyond the forests of flood areas the oxbows and side arms of the Danube are very important habitats in this site. The water surfaces are natural with valuable fauna. In the forests the proportion of alien plantations is very high.
